Phone carriage (a rented number, or Meta's fee on a business-initiated WhatsApp call) is billed separately and is not in this total. Each call bills at least 30 seconds, and a call that never connects costs nothing. Your first Starter month includes 550 credits instead of 500.

Pricing questions
How does CallMissed pricing work?
Simple INR-based plans plus pay-as-you-go credits. Every account gets 1,000 free API credits on signup. Credits work across every API — LLM tokens, STT minutes, TTS characters, image generation. Paid plans (Starter ₹999/mo, Pro ₹4,999/mo, Enterprise ₹20,000/mo) add credits every month (550 / 6,000 / 26,000 your first month, then 500 / 5,000 / 20,000 a month) and higher rate + monthly call limits. Credits never expire.
What are credits?
1 credit = ₹1 ≈ US$0.0104 (US$1 = ₹96). Credits are deducted based on actual usage — tokens for LLM, audio duration for STT, characters for TTS, per image for generation. Different models cost different amounts, and every model has its own published rate.
What happens if I run out of credits?
API calls return a 402 error. Top up anytime from the billing dashboard — buy any amount from 10 to 50,000 credits at ₹1 per credit. No surprise bills, no overage charges. You control exactly how much you spend.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time?
Yes. Upgrades prorate immediately — you pay the difference and new limits kick in today. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Cancellations stop billing on the next cycle. No lock-in, no cancellation fees.
How does per-call pricing work?
Every model has a transparent per-call price, published per model on our docs site. You pay only for what you call — no seat fees, no minimums, no monthly commitment on top of usage. One price covers the model plus the routing, caching, India-region delivery, and support around it.
How much does an AI voice agent call cost per minute?
A voice agent on a flat plan costs ₹4 a minute (Standard), ₹5 a minute (Expressive) or ₹6 a minute (Best latency). That one rate covers speech recognition, the language model and the voice, with a 30-second minimum per call; a call that never connects costs nothing. If you would rather pick every model yourself, a custom stack bills each part at its own rate by the second with no minimum. Phone carriage is billed separately either way.
What models are available on the Free plan?
The Free plan gives you access to every API and 26 free-tier models: 11 LLMs, 4 speech-to-text, 4 text-to-speech, 5 image and 2 embedding models. Premium models are available too — they just cost more credits per call.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
The Free plan is free forever with 1,000 API credits — that is your trial. Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans can be cancelled any time with no commitment.
Do you offer startup credits or discounts?
Yes. Qualifying early-stage startups can apply for $1,000 USD in API credits (on top of 1,000 free signup credits). How am I billed?
Payments are processed through RBI-authorised, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. CallMissed does not store full card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs. Monthly subscriptions support credit/debit cards, UPI, and net banking. Credits are prepaid — top up any amount and use them until they run out. You get a GST invoice (for India) or a standard tax invoice (international). Enterprise customers can pay via bank transfer or PO.
