Account Suspensions & Appeals
How we enforce our Terms of Service, and how to appeal if you believe your account was suspended by mistake.
Last updated: July 19, 2026
1. Overview
CallMissed keeps the platform safe and reliable for everyone by enforcing our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use expectations. When an account is found to be in serious violation, we may terminate its access. This page explains what leads to that, what happens to a terminated account, and how to appeal a decision you believe was made in error.
2. What can lead to termination
Accounts may be terminated for activity that violates our Terms of Service. Common categories include:
- Abuse of free credits or promotions — creating multiple accounts, or using automated means, to obtain sign-up credits or trial benefits more than once.
- Fraudulent or misleading identity — signing up with false, throwaway, or impersonated details to evade our terms.
- Prohibited use — using the service for spam, unlawful content, or anything our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use expectations forbid.
- Security or platform abuse — attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' data.
We do not publish the specific detection thresholds or signals we use, as that would help bad actors evade them. Enforcement decisions are reviewed by our team, not made purely automatically, and every decision can be appealed.
3. What happens to a terminated account
- You can still sign in to see that your account was terminated and to submit an appeal.
- Account features and API access are disabled while the termination is in effect.
- Free promotional credits associated with the violation may be removed. Paid credits and refund rights are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Your data is retained and handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
4. How to appeal
If you believe your account was terminated by mistake, you can appeal in either of these ways:
- From the app — sign in at console.callmissed.com. The terminated-account screen has an appeal form; tell us what happened and submit it.
- By email — write to support@callmissed.com from the email address on the account, and describe why you believe the decision was an error.
To help us review quickly, include the email address on the account and any context about how you were using CallMissed. You only need to submit one appeal — a duplicate won't speed up the review.
5. What to expect
- We acknowledge appeals by email, typically within 1–3 business days.
- A member of our team reviews the account and your appeal.
- If we find the termination was a mistake, we reinstate the account and email you to confirm.
- If the termination stands, we email you the outcome. You may reply with new information if you have it.
